Accepting Fall Consignments
Its the first days of actual summer but Principessa is already gearing up for fall and back to school.
We've grown by leaps and bounds since our first days in October 2007 and the consignments have grown in size as well. We've decided to do something a bit radical.. we are accepting fall consignments now!
Why? Many great reasons.. mostly because it will help you to clear your closets now of the fall/winter clothing. It will help you to make room for the camp clothes, summer clothes, and shorts and bathingsuits!
How? Bring them to Principessa. I will NOT be putting them out on the floor of the store until early August. What I will be doing is tagging and sorting the clothes by size so we can have them ready to be hung in August.
Bring in those HIGH END BRANDS ONLY. Please sort your winter clothes, give them a nonscented wash first too. If you could please fold them or put them in shopping bags or plastic bins I will return the bins. Pull out anything with stains, missing rhinestones, too much washwear, fuzzies, and namelabels.
Brands? Need to know what brands we love? Look at our website. http://www.principessaboutique.com.
We only consign high end brands. So please.. nothing you considered playclothes... No Target, No Gap, No Childrens Place, Kohls, Old Navy. The only "Gap" items I will take are the winter parkas if they are in perfect condition.
Changes this fall. Principessa has had to make a policy change to all future and current consignments going forward. This change is that all unsold items will be donated to charity at the end of the consignment period. We have grown so big that absolutely can not be sorting and returning unsold clothes. What I can do is go through your items and give you back items we want to say "No Thank you" for before the items come to the store.
PLEASE NOTE: Here is the link to the new consignment contract. All consignors new or old will have to sign a new contract for fall 2008/2009.

New faces at the store! We've hired new help at Principessa. We are happy to have a new Sarah, Sammie, and Keri behind the counter working along with Stephanie and myself. And a familiar face will be our friend Jaimee S who is working on Thursdays! Come on by and say hi!
Watch for new Advertising in Buffalo Grove/Long Grove area in the CouponSaver book coming out June 29th. At the Highland Park Ice Rink and at Sunset Valley Golf Course where I am advertising on a big huge 50 inch flat screen TV being installed at the end of the month. You can find coupons in the Eddge as well and ads in Chicago Parent.
