More stuff to share!

Another day closer to opening. Thanks for all the good luck emails and advice on brands you love. I still have way more to share!

My good friend Francine has a darling line of girls tee shirts called SmartGirlsTees. She and her sister-in-law Kim started this company to make tee's with "smart" messages. Wait until you see them! They are great. You can click on the link to her web page on the links side of my blog. Another great line coming to my store will be Tyedye Hoodies, dresses, long sleeve shirts, and onesies. I've found a lovely new designer in Highland Park who makes creative designs. (No more swirly patterns!). She's working on "blinging" them up for me as well. I am bringing in a few more lines that I am trying to get as we speak. My other good friend Debbie will be filling the store with Hair pretties. Her items are already in many local stores around. Debbie's links are listed on the links site.

More pics...Back to items I purchased. I picked up Rico Knits. This is really a nice company making hand knit cardigans. I've ordered them in white and pink. They have little pearl buttons. Great for resort and summer. Throw them in your purse to bring with you everywhere you go. I'm ordering sizes 18m-8. The smaller sizes will have matching knit hats available.

As I was leaving market I noticed this one rep who had really cute tee's in her window. I walked in and ordered tee's and dresses. A new line that is blingy like our girls love but with a price point the mom's wil appreciate. This line is called Specialtees out of New York.

More tomorrow!

Shopping at Market Infant and toddler Part 2.

Okay.. so the other items I wanted for the store were little people items. I wanted some layette to use as gift items, some princess style items, and some little ones clothing.

I started with Haute Baby. A cute line that the rep said alot of movie stars are dressing their kids in. Very sweet. There is a birthday dress, a 2pc set in pink, a hot pink top with biker style shorts, and two other really sweet outfits. Price point should be $40-50.

The next line I chose to carry was one that brought me back to when Chloe was a baby. Its from LeTop. LeTop is a simple but fun line of clothes. They have lots of bright colors and great washable fabric. Price point is $35-40. I ordered these sets in sizes 12m-4t. One side is the 2t-4t sets and the other is the 12m-24m sizes. In the little boy outfits they are sizes 2t-4t.

The last part of Le Top was layette sizes 3m-12m. So cute great price point and great for gifts!

Another favorite brand of mine was Absorba. I bought tons of it for Chloe when she was a baby. Its so soft and cute and washes well. Great price point. I bought lots of little sizes for spring and a great travel 3pc set in terrycloth.

Enough for another night. I still have a few more styles to post to the blog in the next few days! Keep checking back. And don't forget if you have a request email me!

When I say no walls.. I mean we have no walls!

Here are some pic's from the inside of what will eventually be the store. There are alot of build-out and changes to be done to the front windows and inside walls ceiling etc. I'm hoping they get going this week. I dont have much to do but just wait for the city to approve permits. Time is ticking away for me as Camp is almost over for my daughter which means I lose my free time until school starts.

Please note the order of my pictures posted wrong so you are starting with looking at the back of the store! The front of the store will have windows on both sides of the front door. The drywall you see facing the windows will be removed as well as the vestubule over the door. Obviously...its just a big mess right now. Eventually will have a back room, changing room and new bathroom. The back room is where the orange painted area is now. Please note... That is not me in the pic, that is the building manager who has been so very nice enough to help me get the Principessa sign to stay up in the window. It keeps falling down!
